Metroflor's David Altman Participates in FCICA Panel

During the recent FCICA convention, Metroflor’s R & D maven David Altman was one of the panelists in the “Innovations in Multilayer Flooring” presentation. Beyond answering questions about the important techniques necessary for today’s installers to master -- installation, acclimation, construction and adhesives – David had the opportunity to introduce the Multilayer Flooring Association and its mission: setting new industry standards by providing a comparative basis for multilayer flooring in Performance, Safety and Sustainability. He also explained the construction and ASTM specification differences between LVT and Rigid Core products, and introduced a new Standard Specification for Resilient Flooring in Modular Format with Rigid Polymeric Core.
